Take It Away! ...0% finance available on loans from £100 to £2000!

Open to anyone aged between 18 and 25

With the help of the Arts Council, getting started in music, or being able to afford a better instrument, couldn’t be easier!

Take It Away – a painless way of financing a musical instrument. Choose an instrument, maybe with a bow and a case, at our shop, pay a tenth of the price, and Take It Away with you!

We will loan you up to £2,000 at 0% interest, to buy an instrument, through this scheme, which has Arts Council backing.

You just choose an instrument – try out as many as you like in our showroom, (no-one else need hear you!) or we can advise you if you’re a beginner, and Take It Away can loan you up to £2,000, to be paid back over a period of ten months by Direct Debit.

You can choose an instrument between £100 and £2,000, or several items to add up to that – a violin, bow and case, for example.

(You can also, if you like, choose a more expensive item or package, and pay the balance yourself as the deposit.)

You won’t pay any more than the actual price – no interest or other charges. Just a deposit to the value of ten per cent when you have decided to buy, and the remainder will be divided into 9 equal parts to be paid over the next ten months.

How does it work?

You choose your instrument.

We phone the Take It Away Helpline with your name and post code, date of birth, and the amount of the loan, to get an immediate yes or no. You should be able to take the instrument away when you leave the shop!

All you will need is:

-you must be aged between 18 and 25.

-you must be working a minimum of 16hours per week.

-to be able to pay the initial deposit, by credit card if possible but also by cheque or even cash (if cash, with photographic ID.)

-to have a bank account in order to arrange a Direct Debit for the instalments.

-to fill in a very simple form.
