Varnish of a red/bown colour. Excellent condition LOB 730m. Certificate of David Rattray, London (author of "Violin Making in Scotland 1750-1950).

The two piece back of fairly plain maple, the varnish of a dark golden brown. Length of back 716mm.

Condition: to be restored.
